Emotional connection is the most powerful form of communication.

Today, we tend to rely on keyboards and screens. But people want more. They miss something.

They miss the human voice.

Charismatic leaders are present to their audiences. When you speak with clarity, sincerity and purpose, something visceral happens: you move people.

First we partner to craft the spoken word. Then you influence, persuade and inspire.

About Ken Ross

Since 2001 it has been my privilege to write speeches for senior leadership at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the largest independent academic medical center in the western United States and legendary “hospital to the stars.” I serve as the senior speechwriter for the chair of the Cedars-Sinai Board of Directors and also write speeches for our president/CEO and other institutional leaders. My freelance practice serves a variety of clients in Southern California.

My prior communications experience includes ten years as Cedars-Sinai’s director of development communications, and senior marketing communication positions with three other preeminent teaching hospitals: UCLA Medical Center, UCI Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. I also served as communications director for the Producers Guild of America, the national organization for motion picture and television producers.

I learned the art of writing for the spoken word during my first career as a radio personality and writer, and was named one of the Top 5 FM Personalities in the United States by Billboard Magazine, a leading entertainment industry publication.
